Johan Wilsby calls time on tenure at Swedish operator after joining in October 2020

Kindred Group chief financial officer Johan Wilsby is set to leave the Stockholm-listed operator later this year in Q3.
Wilsby originally joined Kindred in October 2020 from eye tracking software development company Tobii.
The former Microsoft and HP finance exec played a key role at Kindred during his tenure, including the acquisition of Relax Gaming in July 2021.
Kindred confirmed the search for Wilsby’s replacement is already underway.
Reflecting on Wilsby’s departure, Kindred Group CEO Henrik Tjärnström praised the finance chief for his efforts during his tenure.
The CEO said: “Kindred is a dynamic company and Johan has been instrumental in developing the group’s corporate function, the strategic execution, as well as contributing to the executive leadership team.
“He has also been a very appreciated colleague and shown leadership and integrity during challenging times. I want to thank Johan for his contributions and wish him the best of luck in his future career,” Tjärnström added.
Elsewhere, Kindred Group has begun a strategic review into the company which could result in the whole or partial sale of the business.
