Betano adds two-time NBA MVP as global ambassador
Kaizen Gaming-owned operator signs Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo as its first-ever global ambassador

Betano has signed two-time NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo to become the operator’s first-ever global ambassador.
Antetokounmpo, who became an NBA champion with the Milwaukee Bucks in 2021, joins the Greek operator in a deal that will include branded content, events and community outreach throughout Betano’s markets.
Greek-born and raised by Nigerian parents, Antetokounmpo has been a leading light for European basketball in the NBA since entering the draft in 2013.
He was named the league’s MVP in 2019 and 2020 and has received seven All-Star selections.
Kaizen is currently active in 12 countries across Europe, Latin and North America.
George Daskalakis, co-founder and CEO of Kaizen Gaming, said: “We could not have asked for a better global brand ambassador for Betano. Besides being the best active basketball player in the world, Giannis embodies all that we value at Kaizen Gaming, and that is hard work, commitment, continuous improvement and, above all, humility.”
On the deal, Antetokounmpo commented: “I take my endorsements seriously and always aim for partnerships that mean something to me. In Betano I have found a great fit, not only in our shared passion for sports but also in our drive and dedication for continuous improvement.”
Kaizen sponsors several football teams throughout Europe and South America via its Betano and Stoiximan brands.
Betano sponsors FC Porto, Sporting CP and SL Benfica in the Portuguese Primera Liga while Stoiximan sponsors Olympiacos, Panathinaikos and PAOK in Greece.
Kaizen Gaming was also the first gambling firm to sign a deal with FIFA during a World Cup, as it was named as a regional partner for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
