PointsBet ramps up golf slate with new analysis show
Sportsbook operator pilots new streaming show to coincide with THE PLAYERS Championship

PointsBet has added to its existing golf streaming content with a new analysis show, The Approach, to coincide with the start of THE PLAYERS Championship.
The program, which will provide commentary on the event, kicks off today and will air every Wednesday on YouTube and all podcast platforms, with focused distribution across all social channels and on the PointsBet app.
It will feature PointsBet’s main golf brand ambassador and Instagram influencer Paige Spiranac, as well as analysis by current PointsBet hosts and contributors Ian Joy, Notah Begay III, and Ariel Epstein.
The Approach will be the fourth program to be created and developed by PointsBet’s dedicated broadcasting hub in New York City.
PointsBet SVP of content Liam Roecklein welcomed the value-add from the new program addition to both the firm and the PGA TOUR partnership.
“PointsBet is committed to delivering our customers a premiere golf betting experience, and we’re hyper-focused on diversifying our golf portfolio via strategic partnerships with the PGA TOUR, IMG ARENA, and Zire Golf, to name a few,” Roecklein said.
PointsBet’s golf portfolio includes partnerships with the PGA TOUR, Troon, Zire Golf, and Swag Golf.
The sportsbook operator recently bulked out its golf offering through integration of IMG ARENA Golf Event Centre content into the PointsBet app.
As part of the integration, PointsBet users also have the option to watch live streaming from two par-three holes per tournament within the app.
