Caesars to offer in-app NFL streams through expanded partnership with Genius Sports
Deal makes operator the first to provide Watch & Bet (capabilities for US customers on phones and tablets
Caesars Sportsbook users in the US will soon be able to stream NFL games directly on their personal devices thanks to the expansion of a partnership between Caesars Entertainment and Genius Sports.
The expanded union will see Caesars become the first US sportsbook to offer Watch & Bet capabilities for select NFL games, with the advancement powered by Genius Sports’ machine learning and live streaming technologies.
“The addition of live Watch & Bet video streaming brings the best that the NFL has to offer right into the Caesars Sportsbook app,” said Caesars Digital president Eric Hession.
“Delivering innovative technology like this remains a key emphasis for us, so being the first US sportsbook to provide customers with in-app NFL live streaming isn’t something we take lightly. We’re thankful to bring an industry-leading new feature to our sports wagering app through our partnership with Genius Sports and the NFL,” he added.
Genius, a global B2B data provider, owns the exclusive worldwide rights to distribute the NFL’s real-time official play-by-play data as well as Next Gen Stats (NGS) and sports betting data to media companies and sportsbooks.
The new Watch & Bet live wagering experience will allow users to watch select NFL games within the Caesars app while taking advantage of unique in-game betting markets and player props that will be presented alongside the video stream of the game.
“In our expanded agreement with the NFL and Caesars Entertainment, Genius Sports has created a unique solution that combines our exclusive official NFL data with live streaming content to deliver the most compelling sports betting experience available across the US,” said Genius Sports CEO Mark Locke.
As part of the arrangement, Caesars – which is an official sports betting partner of the NFL – will also be able to utilize official marks and logos of the NFL and its teams to help promote the various features of the Watch & Bet product experience.
