
Bally’s Interactive promotes from within for VP of product operations
Richard Wagstaff takes up the position after a year in charge of the firm’s sports product studio


Bally’s Interactive has appointed Richard Wagstaff as its new VP of product operations.
Wagstaff will be responsible for product ownership, UX and UI globally. This is Wagstaff’s second role at Bally’s after he was made VP of sports product operations in November 2021, following Bally’s acquisition of Degree 53 in October 2021.
Bally’s Corporation acquired the UK-based creative agency Degree 53 to advance its global omni-channel offering.
Degree 53 specialises in multi-channel websites, personalised mobile apps and software, and sportsbook and casino mobile app development.
The Manchester-headquartered firm now supports the product development of Bally’s US media partnership with Sinclair Broadcast Group.
Wagstaff was the MD of Degree 53 when it was acquired by Bally’s. He was at Degree 53 for nearly a decade before the deal.
He also held the roles of operations director, head of production, senior product manager and project and account manager.
Before his time at Degree 53, Wagstaff spent time with both Betfred and IGT as he cut his teeth in the industry.
