Mansion Group shutters UK casino brands
Gibraltar-headquartered operator elects to close its three UK casino brands nearly a year on from the shuttering of its UK sports betting business

Mansion Group has announced that its three casino brands, Mansion Casino, Slots Heaven and Casino.com, have all ceased UK operations.
A statement on the brands’ sites said: “From 17:00 GMT on 12 January 2023, the UK-facing sites will no longer accept deposits from players and will cease gameplay at 23:50 the same day.
“Mansion directs any players who wish to withdraw their money to do so by 23:59 on 12 April 2023.”
Alongside this statement, the operator has exercised its right to surrender its UK licence with effect from 13 January 2023.
The Gibraltar-headquartered operator has stated that the reason for this closure is so that it can focus on improving its online casino offerings in other licenced markets, including Ontario and Spain.
Neil Gallacher, chief marketing officer at Mansion Group, said: “Mansion’s focus in 2023 and beyond is to continue to double down on the most profitable markets where we currently operate whilst always seeking to explore emerging markets.
“The UK was, for many years, our core market, and we look forward to sharing 20 years of wonderful customer experiences with all our non-UK clients for many years to come,” he added.
The move comes just under a year since Mansion Group decided to close its sports betting brand Mansion Bet in the UK. Following its closure, the MansionBet site has become an affiliate review site.
The firm said its decision at the time was due to the heightened competition and regulatory environment within the UK sports betting market.
