
Pinnacle unveils latest esports tournament
Esports-first operator reveals second iteration of Pinnacle Cup to run throughout May


Pinnacle has continued to expand its presence in the esports industry after announcing a new Dota 2 tournament.
The Pinnacle Cup will run from 5 May until 30 May and boasts a total prize pool of $100,000 (£71,926) and a top prize of $50,000.
The tournament marks the second edition of the Pinnacle Cup, following the inaugural competition in March on the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) platform.
The Pinnacle Cup is run in partnership with data partner Grid and broadcast partner Relog Media.
Through its partnership with Grid, Pinnacle will offer a range of pre-match and live betting markets, while also showcasing betting data and odds through Twitch.
Paris Smith, Pinnacle CEO, said: “The heart of what we do at Pinnacle is engaging with the esports community, and with the introduction of the Pinnacle Cup – Dota, we plan to further reinforce that connection with the wider esports audience.
