
Checkd Group names new head of sports
Former product manager Alan Davey steps up to senior role to oversee developments in UK and North America


Checkd Group has appointed Alan Davey as the affiliate’s new head of sports for its growing media division.
Davey steps up from his role as product manager to drive forward Checkd Media’s sports strategy in both the UK and North America.
In his new role, Davey will oversee the rollout of tech-based solutions and content for the firm’s media and operator partners.
Checkd Group recently launched in Ontario to bolster its North American presence, with its FlashPicks product already licensed in 15 US states.
The Manchester-based affiliate shifted its former commercial lead Callum Broxton to become its head of US operations based out of New York.
Speaking on his appointment, Davey said: “Checkd Group has made great strides in recent years and it is a privilege to take on my new role as the media division’s head of sports, as we continue to make progress for the benefit of our partners and our sports betting communities.
“It’s an exciting time to be at Checkd Group and I look forward to hitting new milestones as we continue to grow,” he added.
