Q. What do you enjoy most about your job?
What I love most about my job is launching new projects. It’s like stepping into terra incognita – no matter how prepared you are, new challenges always await you right around the corner. That is what makes it exciting.
Q. If you could give one piece of advice to a co-founder/product manager, what would it be?
Find the teammates who are just as passionate and devoted about the product as you are. Once you have found them, you’re already halfway to success.
Q. Who would play you in the movie about your life?
Anne Hathaway.
Q. What’s your karaoke song of choice?
I’m really good at coming up with alternatives when I’m offered to do karaoke.
Q. Which one thing can’t you live without?
My mobile phone for sure.
Q. Who would you most like to be stuck in an elevator with?
I’m getting scared even thinking about being stuck in an elevator. No one could make me feel better in such a situation, but if I had to choose someone then it would be an elevator engineer!
Q. Where would you time travel to and why?
I would probably time travel to the 80s, inspired a lot by the recent Stranger Things season. I’m really fond of this era’s neon aesthetic and music.
Q. What is your favourite TV programme?
The Crown.
Q. What is your biggest guilty pleasure?
The colouring by numbers game on my iPad. I can really relax and lose track of time colouring in a variety of flower pictures.
Q. If you won the lottery, what would you spend the money on?
I’d buy a nice cosy house for my parents to live in, save some money for the future and the rest I would donate to charity.
Q. Name one place everyone should visit before they die.
Tokyo.
