Betano to become front-of-shirt sponsor for FC Porto
Kaizen Gaming-owned Betano extends partnership with Portuguese league champions beyond its current 2021-22 season agreement

Betano has agreed on a new four-year partnership with Liga Nos champions FC Porto to become its front-of-shirt sponsors beginning next season.
The sports betting firm’s logo will appear on the front of the Portuguese side’s famous blue and white shirts.
Betano will be taking over from telecommunications brand MEO, owned by the largest service provider in Portugal, Altice.
Betano is the third company to sponsor the front of the Dragões’ shirts in the 25 years since Porto agreed to its first sponsorship deal with ceramics brand Revigrés in 1997.
George Daskalakis, CEO of Kaizen Gaming, said: “Announcing our partnership agreement with FC Porto, a legendary club not only in Portugal but on an international level, is a day of celebration for all of us at Kaizen Gaming.
“What I consider even more important is signing on with a club that values long-standing partnerships; it is a true mark of confidence in our company, our brand Betano and our commitment to Portuguese football.”
Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa, president of FC Porto, commented: “Futebol Clube do Porto has always sought to associate itself with great brands, and this partnership, the one we have now reinforced with Betano, follows up on that intention; it is a great collaboration of a leading club and a reference brand.
“Our demands are maximum on and off the field, so we always want to work with the best.”
Betano will continue to have betting partnerships with fellow Liga Nos clubs, including SL Benfica and Sporting Lisbon CP.
Kaizen Gaming, Betano’s parent company, has a wide range of football sponsorships across Europen and Latam via Betano and Greek sportsbook Stoiximan.
Stoiximan has been shirt sponsor for Super League Greece side PAOK Salonika, Olympiacos and Cypriot sides Apoel Nicosia, Apollon Limassol and OMONIA Nicosia.
Kaizen Gaming partner clubs include Fluminense and Atlético Mineiro in Brazil, Club Universidad de Chile and Deportes La Serena in Chile, and FCSB and CS Universitatea Craiova in Romania.
