Oddschecker nets bet365 partnership extension
Online operator retains top spot on the odds comparison site’s grid, having held pole position since 2006
Oddschecker has sealed a multi-year partnership extension with online gambling giant bet365.
The bookmaker has been a cornerstone of the oddschecker grid interface over the last two decades, having held the number one position since 2006.
Bet365 is also the leading brand on the odds comparison site when it comes to betting click share, owing to its market-leading product and prominent site placement.
According to oddschecker, bet365 has taken nearly 25% of all oddschecker grid clicks in 2020.
Toby Bentall, oddschecker Global Media CEO, said: “We are proud to secure another multi-year partnership extension with bet365, and so continue to provide our users with one of the best betting experiences out there via our integrated platforms.”
“Bet365 has consistently proved our most popular integrated brand from a user activity perspective, and the partnership has yielded significant mutual benefit for more than fifteen years and counting.
“We expect to see this continue, particularly given the traffic growth oddschecker is experiencing with the recent Google search update.”
The extension marks a major coup for oddschecker after GVC pulled its Ladbrokes, Coral and Betdaq brands from the grid in July after failing to reach a renewal price.
A bet365 spokesperson said: “We place significant importance on working closely with all of our partners, and look forward to continuing this long standing relationship with oddschecker.”
Oddschecker recently experienced its biggest ever day in terms of site traffic as punters flocked to the site while waiting for the US presidential election result on 4 November.
The site witnessed a 19.4% increase on its previous record day for traffic, 14 April 2018, in the build-up to the Aintree Grand National.
