BetMGM snares former ESPN and Disney product lead
Jarrod Schwarz links up with Entain and MGM Resorts JV in chief product officer position

Former ESPN VP of product management Jarrod Schwarz has joined BetMGM as the operator’s new chief product officer (CPO).
A veteran of the product design and internet marketing sectors, Schwarz spent more than five years at the US sports broadcaster, where he was responsible for product management and design for ESPN’s digital products and business platforms.
This included the ESPN website, app and fantasy games and the broader ESPN network of websites and apps.
In his most recent role, Schwarz spent more than two years as SVP of product and design at ESPN parent company Disney, working in the media giant’s direct to consumer and international businesses.
He oversaw several digital consumer products across the Disney portfolio at major brands including ESPN, ABC and Disney.
In a LinkedIn post confirming his arrival, Schwarz said he was excited to be joining the business.
“It is an amazing company that is pioneering sports betting and online gaming,” he added.
Last month, BetMGM recruited former Evolution North America business development manager Oliver Bartlett as its new director of gaming.
Bartlett, who spent three years with the live casino heavyweight, was recruited to drive BetMGM’s gaming performance through marketing and promotions across the US.
