SportsGrid hires former CBS Sports host to lead betting programming
Scott Ferrall will anchor two new shows to be produced from the start-up’s Meadowlands studio

Betting network SportsGrid has hired former CBS Sports radio host Scott Ferrall to launch two new programs from the firm’s studio in Meadowlands, New Jersey.
The shows will feature insights and wagering strategies, as well as interviews from industry experts.
Ferrall previously fronted The Ferrall Show on Howard 101 for six years.
He then joined CBS to host his show Ferrall on the Beach for more than seven years.
SportsGrid co-founder Louis Maione said: “Over the last 20 years, Scott has gained the respect and trust of millions of loyal listeners.
“With Scott’s appearance every weeknight on SportsGrid, he will have the tech platform to graphically visualize the real-time stats, odds, and data combined with his unique perspective to engage the audience.”
Ferrall added: “I’m thrilled to be joining the talent and management team at SportsGrid. The future of sports betting is gigantic and rapidly evolving beyond all expectations.”
According to Forbes, Ferrall’s contract with CBS prevented him from commenting on betting at length.
SportsGrid produces content for the likes of FanDuel and recently grew its staff with a senior hire from Sportsradar.
The firm was contracted to produce a 24-hour betting network for Sportradar last year, but the deal fell through.
