Global Gaming fails in latest injunctive relief appeal
Malta-headquartered firm “disappointed” in latest case to continue operating in Sweden

Global Gaming has lost its third appeal for injunctive relief following the revocation of its Swedish licence, the company has confirmed.
The operator’s request to be allowed to continue operating in Sweden while its full appeal is heard was denied by the Supreme Administrative Court.
Global Gaming CEO Tobias Fagerlund said he was disappointed to see the appeal rejected for a third time.
“Our focus is now on the judicial review of the Swedish Gambling Authority’s decision that is currently taking place,” Fagerlund said.
“We maintain that the decision is fundamentally wrong and disproportionate and will show it during the process that is currently underway in the Administrative Court,” Fagerlund added.
While the appeal is being heard, Global Gaming has launched a new brand in Sweden as a white-label on Finnplay’s platform.
The operator has criticised the regulator’s communication throughout the revocation and appeal process.
