Chris Taylor swaps Malta for Gibraltar as he joins C-level after nearly six years with leading operator

Bet365 has promoted Chris Taylor to become the online giant’s new chief digital officer after almost six years with the firm.
Taylor moves up to C-level after three years as the Stoke-on-Trent-based operator’s head of performance in Malta.
He originally joined bet365 in November 2016 as a marketing operations manager in the UK, before moving to Malta in February 2017.
Additionally, Taylor has also served as a company director for the family-owned business’ Malta subsidiary while working on the island.
He became a director in October 2020 and has now stepped down from the role as he moves to Gibraltar to become chief digital officer.
In this role, Taylor will be responsible for leading a multi-region team working across analytics, marketing, content and technology.
Last month, bet365 revealed its plans to revamp its in-house sports and betting news site while embarking on a hiring spree.
