
Betsson Group crowned Operator of the Year at the EGR Nordics Awards
Malta-based company bags a total of five awards including Sports Betting Operator and Marketing Campaign

Betsson Group dominated the EGR Nordics Awards last night in Malta taking home five accolades, including the ceremony’s most coveted prize: Operator of the Year.
The Swedish operator saw off competition in the headline category from ComeOn Group, Danske Spil, Genesis Global, LeoVegas Mobile Gaming Group and Videoslots.
Before landing the big prize, Betsson Group also scooped the awards for Sports Betting Operator, Marketing Campaign, Customer Service Operator and Affiliate Programme.

Elsewhere, Mr Green took the Safer Gambling Operator award, while Danske Spil triumphed in the Mobile Operator category.
William Hill International, the parent company of Mr Green, was crowned Casino Operator, with the judges singling out the brand’s “perfect mix between innovation, product quality and responsible gaming”.
ComeOn Group was especially pleased to win the award for In-House Innovation when the team stepped on stage at the Westin Dragonara Resort in St Julian’s, Malta.
On the B2B side, Greentube won Casino Content Supplier and Yggdrasil was presented with the award for Casino Platform Supplier.
In a new addition this year, Scout Gaming was victorious in the inaugural Skill Games Supplier section.
The independent judging panel consisted of 12 igaming experts, including Kyte Consultants director Alan Alden, Nordic Gambling associate Elvin Sababi and KPMG associate director Russell Mifsud. In addition to the judging panel, the awards were adjudicated by accountancy giant Deloitte.
