Czech lottery operator appoints Pavel Turek to lead strategy following years of commercial success in motorsports

Sazka Group has appointed commercial and marketing heavyweight Pavel Turek as its new chief officer for corporate social responsibility (CSR) and global brand.
Turek joins the Czech lottery operator from German motorsport art print firm Automobilist where he has served as CEO since January 2019.
Prior to joining Automobilist, Turek spent five years as commercial director for the Red Bull Air Race between September 2013 and September 2018.
He also served as director of global sponsorship for motorsports for Imperial Tobacco from February 2003 through to September 2005.
Joining Sazka’s parent company, KKGC Group, this month, he will be responsible for managing the brand’s CSR strategy and developing global and local branding for its lottery operations.
Speaking on his arrival, Turek said: “My main goal will be to create a concept where global and local brands coexist. I will also assist in the creation of the company’s corporate social responsibility.
“I am honoured to have been given the opportunity to work in Karel Komárek’s ambitious team.”
Komárek, KKCG founder, added: “I know Pavel as a creative and experienced manager. I believe that thanks to his knowledge in the field of sport, he can bring new ideas to our group which will advance the public perception of our brands.”
