CrownBet launches new ad campaign after BetEasy rebrand
Australian operator enlists the help of cricketer Ricky Ponting to push BetEasy’s “bigger, better betting experience”

CrownBet has unveiled a new marketing campaign to inform customers about its name switch to BetEasy.
The Australian operator was forced to change its name after the country’s Federal Court temporarily banned the betting service from rebranding to Sportingbet.
BetEasy originally changed its name to CrownBet in March 2015, but recently had to rename itself after the business was acquired by William Hill, with the agreement that CrownBet would stop using the William Hill brand by October 2018.

In its new campaign, BetEasy uses ambassadors including Australian cricket legend Ricky Ponting and former Neighbours actress Nicki Whelan, to reveal the “bigger, better betting experience” that punters can expect under the new brand.
CrownBet’s creative agency, The Monkeys Melbourne, produced the new campaign after taking the lead on its successful Better Way to Wager campaign in September 2017.
