Betsson launches modified BetBuilder product
Operator has developed its own front-end for the single-game accumulator engine from Betgenius and Sportcast

Betsson has become the latest firm to launch automated request-a-bet style markets thanks to a new partnership with Betgenius and Sportcast.
The Swedish firm has integrated the BetBuilder product into its Nordicbet, Betsson and Betsafe sites ahead of the World Cup.
Betsson has also built its own front-end for the product, which offers multiples made up of dozens of different markets within the same game, including the ‘how a player will score’ and ‘will the woodwork be hit’ markets.
“We are delighted to announce the release of BetBuilder and further extend our fantastic football offering,” said Nick Maurice, director of Sportsbook at Betsson Group.
“We expect the World Cup to be the action-packed event of the summer, and the ability to predict the various incidents in any game as part of a single bet, is a brand new experience for our customers.”
Betfred also launched the BetBuilder product earlier this week, joining bwin, which launched the product last month.
Ryan Coombs, commercial director at Sportcast, said: “We’re delighted to be launching with a fantastic operator in Betsson, and excited to see them take customisation to the next level by creating their own interface on the Sportcast API suite.
“It’s great news for Betsson’s customers to get a little bit of magic added to their betting experience in time for the World Cup.”
The rise of single game accumulators has caused some concern in the industry with EGR’s Alun Bowden writing this week: “The rise of the RAB should give the industry a pause for thought about where it’s heading”.
