Yggdrasil unveils third Vikings title
Yggdrasil Gaming has announced the return of the Vikings with the launch of its new video slot, Vikings go to Hell.
The game follows previous titles Vikings go Wild and Vikings go Berserk, with the Vikings this time taking on demon hordes in the underworld.
The Berzerk mode returns, as does the rage collection mechanic, but this time the game also features higher variance and bigger win potential.
Yggdrasil head of slots Jonas Strandman said: “Vikings go to Hell is the third instalment of a successful series, so of course the only way to go was even bigger and better.”
ORYX Gaming to enter Romania
ORYX Gaming has secured all required Romanian certificates, licenses and approvals to offer its egaming platform and content to Romanian operators.
The ORYX platform is an omni-channel and cross-product platform that enables operators to manage their product suite using a shared account and one wallet for casino, lottery, sportsbook and poker.
The obtained license will also allow ORYX to roll out its Aggregator content, including content providers such as EGT, Amatic, ISoftBet and Kiron.
Matevz Mazij, ORYX Gaming CEO said: “Regulated markets form a key part of our growth strategy and entering Romania is a fantastic opportunity for our business.”
SIS signs Irish Greyhound Derby deal
SIS has agreed an exclusive deal to provide retail and online operators with live pictures and data for the 2018 Irish Greyhound Derby.
The content provided will feature all races from Shelbourne Park, from the first-round heats beginning 16 August, through to the final on 22 September.
SIS will provide live pictures and pre-race data, including runners, recent form and race meetings, as well as race day data including betting shows, starting prices and race results.
Gordon Bissett, greyhound operations manager at SIS said: “The Irish Greyhound Derby is the premier competition in the Irish greyhound calendar and will see the fastest greyhounds competing for the ultimate prize.”
Realistic Games releases first 3D slot
Casino content supplier Realistic Games is hoping “players will keep their cool” with its latest release Black Ice.
The five-reel, 10-line slot is the company’s first 3D game and gives players greater control as they use the new cinematic view to explore the game.
By utilising the latest technology, it has created a 3D world in which players can tilt and swipe their devices in order to change their view of the reels and enhance their game experience.
Commercial director Robert Lee said: “Black Ice is our first 3D slot and we are very excited to bring this new development to our operating partners.”
Booming Games set for Italy launch
Booming Games has agreed terms with OIA services LTD to release 20 of its best performing titles.
OIA operates in Italy under AAMS jurisdictions using the websites www.betaland.it and www.enjoybet.it.
As a result, Booming Games will be offering new releases to the Italian market from June onwards.
Booming Games CCO Frederik Niehusen said: “This newly agreed partnership with OIA services will help further our coverage in the region, bringing our games to many more Italian players.”
Real Time Gaming appoints Asia CMO
RTG Asia has appointed former Gala Interactive exec Alex Czajkowski as its new CMO in Manila.
“While European firm are knee deep in the frenzy of mergers and acquisitions, the Asian market for RNG games is booming,” said Czajkowski.
“Having worked, on and off, with Real Time Gaming for the last 14 years, I’m excited to join this new team, focused on increasing player lifetime values for the region’s operators.”
RTG Asia is the Asian arm of Real Time Gaming, the 20-year-old international online casino platform provider.
