Summits/Conferences/Workshops

Data collection/ processing

  • By registering for an event, you will receive communications both pre- and post- event in relation to that specific event by email and/or telephone and/or SMS and/or post.
  • By registering for an event, you may receive communications about other related events and products from Pageant Media under legitimate interest.
  • If you register your interest/apply to attend an event/enquire to sponsor, you may receive communications about other related events and products from Pageant Media under legitimate interest even if your registration is not confirmed/you do not sponsor.
  • Your data will not be shared with any third parties without your consent unless it needs to be shared for the organisation of the event that you have registered for. For example with the security team of the event venue. Only details required for this specific purpose will be shared.
  • By registering for an event your name, job title and company name may be displayed on a delegate list at the event. This list will be available to view at the event by attendees either digitally or on a displayed hard copy, and will not be distributed to attendees via soft or hard copy before, during or after the event.
  • We may provide our sponsors/speakers with a list of companies that have registered to attend in advance of the event with a selection of job titles from those organisations. An individual’s job title and company name will not be provided together. This list may also be placed on our website or used for marketing purposes both pre and post event.
  • On occasions, our sponsors may wish to contact you about their products/services. If so, you will be given the opportunity to opt into receive these communications during the registration process. If you choose to opt in, you will receive an email communication sent by the organisers on behalf of the sponsor. Your data will not be shared with any sponsors.
  • Any sensitive data provided during registration (e.g. dietary requirements) will only be used for the purposes of the specific event you are registering for and will be deleted from our data systems within one week of the event taking place.
  • You have the right to opt-out of being contacted for direct marketing purposes by Pageant Media via email, voice calls, SMS or direct mail by updating your preferences in the Preference Centre (available via any marketing email) or by contacting us at data@pageantmedia.com.

Transfer of data

Third party data processors and other such business relationships are required to take adequate technical and organisational safeguards to protect personal information. We also take measures to ensure that personal information transferred by us both inside and outside of the EEA is adequately protected.

Third parties

We may disclose personal information about you internally and to third parties for processing purposes associated with payment processing, the supply of goods and services, for web site administration. All third parties are contractually bound only to use personal information to perform the services that we hire them to provide. We work with our suppliers to ensure compliance with current data protection regulation.

Photography

By attending our events, you are providing consent to have your photograph taken at the event, which may be used by the organisers in future promotional material online or in print. Please contact events@pageantmedia.com if you do not wish your photograph to be used for marketing purposes.

Changes to events and cancellations

It may be necessary for reasons beyond our reasonable control to alter the advertised content, timing and/or location of the event or the advertised speakers or sponsors. We reserve the right to do this at any time. Where we alter the time and/or location of the event, we will provide you with notice of the same and will offer you the choice to attend next year’s event or a future event of your choice (up to the value of sums paid by you in respect of the event where applicable) or the opportunity to attend the event as varied.

If you are unable to attend the event, we welcome substitute delegates/ guests attending in your place who are of a similar job function, and that we have at least 2 days prior notice of the name of your proposed substitute, and have received payment in full where applicable. Please notify us of any substitutions by email at events@pageantmedia.com.

No refunds will be given in respect of any cancellations or non-attendance.

Travel and accommodation

Registration for residential Summits includes complimentary accommodation, subject to the delegate meeting the qualifying criteria. All rooms are subject to availability and must be booked directly with the hotel via the provided booking form.

Sponsors must book required accommodation directly with the hotel and cover all charges.

Pageant Media are not liable for travel to and from the event or other costs and expenses incurred (included wasted costs and expenses). If we are required to cancel or relocate the event as a result of an event outside our control (including, without limitation, to acts of God, floods, lightning, storm, fire, explosion, war, military operations, acts of terrorism or threats of any such acts, any strike action, lock-outs or other industrial action and a pandemic, epidemic or other widespread illness), we shall not be liable to you for costs and expenses incurred (included wasted costs and expenses).

Awards

Data collection/processing

  • By entering an awards/booking a table/seat at an awards, you will receive communications both pre- and post- event in relation to that specific awards by email and/or telephone and/or SMS and/or post.
  • By registering for an event, you may receive communications about other related events and products from Pageant Media under legitimate interest.
  • If you register your interest/enquire to sponsor an awards, you may receive communications about other related events and products from Pageant Media under legitimate interest even if your registration is not confirmed/you do not sponsor.
  • By booking a table/seats for an awards, you agree to provide details of all your guests attending the event (name, job title, company, email, telephone). These guests may receive communications about other related events and products from Pageant Media. They may opt out of communications at any time by emailing data@pageantmedia.com. This data will not be distributed to other attendees or sponsors via soft or hard copy before, during or after the event.

  • We may provide our sponsors/speakers with a list of companies that have registered to attend in advance of the webinar, with a selection of job titles from those organisations. An individual’s job title and company name will not be provided together.
  • On occasions, our sponsors may wish to contact you about their products/ services.
