GAN launches social casino for Isle of Capri Casinos
Deal follows newly-announced partnership with Chickasaw Nation tribal operator
GAN has launched a new social casino on behalf of the recently-formed interactive division of Isle of Capri Casinos, the operator of 14 casino properties across the United States.
The deal will see GANâs Simulated Gaming platform power the new Lady Luck social casino online and on iOS and Android mobile apps.
Isle of Capri is a major player in the US land-based casino market, with 1.5 million annual unique visitors and net revenues of $978.6m for the year ending April 24, 2016.
The partners said in a statement that the social casino would increase awareness of the Lady Luck lifestyle brand and increase patron visitation on-property.
That deal was preceded by a separate agreement for GAN to launch a social casino on behalf of the Chickasaw Nation, which runs 20 casinos in Oklahoma.
The partnership was previously announced by GAN back in April, but the identity of the client was not disclosed since GAN had not been licensed by the Chickasaw Nationâs Gaming Commissioner.
The Chickasaw social casino is expected to go live âlater this yearâ, according to GAN CEO Dermot Smurfit.
He added: âChickasaw Nationâs casino properties serve the Dallas and north Texas metropolitan areas ranked by Facebook among the Top 10 highest-revenue cities worldwide for social casino gaming.
âBy combining traditional casino marketing with a multi-million dollar digital marketing commitment, we believe the Chickasaw Nation will quickly secure significant market share online in the region already well served by their land-based gaming enterprise.â
