DraftDay to supply SportsTradex with B2B platform
Sportech-managed daily fantasy sports operator continues to grow its B2B offering
The recently formed DraftDay Gaming Group has struck a deal to supply daily fantasy sports (DFS) operator SportsTradex.com with its B2B platform. [private]
SportsTradex was formed in 2012 and offers alternative DFS contests to the popular salary cap model, including âpickâem gamesâ and tiered draft formats.
The partnership will see SportsTradex switch to the DraftDay platform by game-time next weekend, with players who transfer their funds offered a 100% matching bonus up to $500.
SportsTradex said it had chosen to partner with DraftDay because it offered similar âpickâemâ style games, and because of its approach to player security and licensing.
DraftDay was acquired by a group managed by online horserace wagering operator Sportech back in September, and has recently introduced additional geolocation products to its platform.
SportsTradex CEO Ben Lipson said DraftDayâs approach to security and player protections meant it would be one of the best partners to help âcapitalize on the excitement around DFSâ.
âDraftDay has demonstrated technology leadership in daily fantasy sports, and I have every confidence that SportsTradex players will love DraftDay,â he added.
DraftDay president Nic Sulsky said the partnership would âspark even quickerâ growth in DraftDayâs âpickâemâ slate, and would help SportsTradexâs vision for the market to âcontinue to prosperâ.
